Antique Japanese fukuro obi kimono sash in beige with a gold-framed floral pattern. The pattern is rokutsu style with a plain section in the middle. The fabric is a dense woven silk with intricate embroidery.

Fukuro obi have been a popular style of kimono sash since the Showa period. They are used in a wide variety of situations, from ceremonies and celebrations to wearing out casually, and in recent years also as wall hangings, table runners and for upcycling into accessories.
