This is a buying gorgeous subway detail mosaic. The mosaic measures 3 1/2" x 9.
This mosaic is made in the exact style, design and material used in the NYC Subway stations. Our company repairs the actual mosaics in the subways and now we are making wall art that can be custom made for your home!
The tiles are full body color porcelain tiles that are 9/16" tall x various widths, made from molds that were made using the original mosaics. The mosaic is mounted on high quality birch plywood, with a felt back and hand twisted wire hanger.
We re-create ancient mosaics as well as supply the NYC Subway System with all of their repairs for the existing historical mosaics in the stations.
We can create original pieces, mounted on wood, tile or mesh.
