I have lots of baby girl quilt kits offered but I keep getting requests for quilt kits for young girls. buying I put this quilt kit together with that in mind. The fabrics are not too baby-ish..just oodles of butterflies, hearts, dots and posies in shades of pink, lavender/purple and green. And of course it would make a sweet baby quilt as well.

Three large fussy cut butterfly blocks in pink, purple and green.....did I mention butterflies?!

Your kit includes:

All squares (5") to complete your quilt top, the 3 larger butterfly squares (9.5") and the illustration shown above to follow along when laying out your squares for sewing.

Perfect beginner project or for the experienced quilter who is time challenged.
All you have to do is sit at your sewing machine and follow the illustration to sew your squares together.

Your finished size using standard 1/4" seams is 45" by 54".

All fabrics are 100% cotton.

I do not include binding fabric in my kits. Many quilters have small pieces of fabric on hand to cut their own bindings in the color of their choice. For example, if your quilt top finishes to 40” by 49” you would need 5 pieces of fabric cut 2.5” wide by width of fabric which is usually 42” wide. In that case you would only need 12.5” of fabric so when purchasing, ½ yard would be more than enough. Also, many buyers add a border or two to their quilt kits from me to make them larger and in that case it would take more fabric for binding.
