Here is an old patchwork quilt top, probably from the 1940's.
It is handsewn, and contains many, if not all, feedsack fabrics.
It measures approx. 69 inches by 80 inches.
Now, I have taken these measurements from the quilt top "as-is". The measurement on one side of the quilt was taken on a "raw" edge, that is it was not bound with red seam binding like the rest of the quilt. (See image # 6) The opposite side was buying turned under after the seam binding was applied -- for whatever reason.

There is a row of blue squares that have disintegrated, while the rest of the fabrics seem to be in good condition, and the colors are vibrant. You can see the hand-stitching in image # 7.

The squares are approx. 1-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches.

On your way to a new old quilt! Or consider it a cutter for your projects!
