Vintage 1950s buying Ucagco Ceramic Spaghetti Santa Claus.
This hand painted ceramic Santa is dressed in his red suit with spaghetti trim that is brushed with gold.
He is in a sitting position and holding a large white toy sack that has gold stars and smudges of spaghetti trim too.
Santa's hand painted face is very expressive with his dark eyes, red mouth and rosy cheeks.
He has a full white beard and mustache, and he is wearing light green mittens.
The open top toy sack can be used as a planter, a candy holder, or for even small ornaments and greenery.
This Santa originally came with a wire sleigh and a little ceramic reindeer, but this Santa comes by himself.
He is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
He does have crazing throughout.
He has a tiny black mark under his right eye and a black spot on the top of his hat.
The toy sack has a few tiny smudges and bumps that were done in production.
His red hat has multiple red paint chips, and his coat has a few.
His black boots show some wear.
All the spaghetti trim is intact.
The inside of the sack shows some wear from being used as a planter, as does the outside bottom.
Santa has a gold and red foil sticker on the bottom that reads... Ucagco Ceramics Japan.
