Extra Large Glass Serving buying Bowl, Lasisepat Mantsala, Finland by Pertti Kallionen

Designed by Pertti Kallioinen in the mid 1970s and manufactured by Lasisepat Mantsala of Finland. Sometimes ascribed to Riihimaen Lasi, Finland. Somewhat similar in appearance to the Metsa (Forest) pattern also designed by Pertti Kallioinen..

This large glass bowl measures about 11 1/2 inches across at its widest and is about 7 1/2 inches tall. It holds 20 cups. Textured on the outside, smooth on the inside. It is the largest bowl in buying this range and uncommon.

It would be stunning as a large salad bowl or for serving trifle, chips. etc.

Excellent condition. Free from any defects such as hairline cracks, chips, fleabites or staining. No scratches visible when held up to the light. No wear on the base.

It has been cleaned and sanitized. (571-4M)
