These ginkgo leaf earrings are completely hand crafted, and copied from actual ginkgo leaves. You have a choice of a satin polished finish for a bright, cheerful effect, or oxidised Copper, which is a little more edgy. Mixed metal earrings are the epitome of individual style.

DETAILS AND MEASUREMENTS

These Ginkgo earrings are a labour of love. Ginkgo Biloba, the Maidenhair tree, has been described as a living fossil, having survived unchanged for 200 million years. It has distinctive fish tail shaped leaves with the veins radiating from the stalk. This amazing tree is the inspiration behind this design. The design is based on close study of actual Ginkgo Biloba leaves. The distinctive shape has been hand cut from sheet Copper, filed to refine the outline, and textured by hand to show the distinctive veining. Then the Copper leaves have been polished and oxidised (where required). The ear wires are hand made in 925 Sterling Silver and the tips carefully rounded so that they are comfortable for you.

• Overall length from ear piercing: 4.6 cm (1 17/8 inches) approx
• Length of ginkgo leaf: 2.6 cm (1 inch) approx

• Handmade in the UK by Calico Rose Studio.
