The inspiration:
During a cold wet winter day in Melbourne I had a longing for spring and summer warmth. The image of the background was the first inspiration, driven to create a feeling of warmth the comfort. Once the background was completed a feeling of an African adventure was seeded, and the painting of a Mother Elephant with her young one was created.
