What an attractive link to a bygone era!! This authentic and original toy truck was found in an old Island farm house and dates back to the early part buying of the 20th century.
It is made of wood and shows evidence of having been played with but was not abused.
The red and silver colors make this little truck very attractive.
It would have been made with loving care for some little boy on Christmas or for a Birthday. It comes from an era when store bought toys were out of the reach of most families so hand made ones were often the result. Very few of these toys have survived and especially in this condition.
The truck measures 9.5 inches long, 3 inches wide and about 3.5 inches in height.
It is in good vintage condition with a small piece of wood missing over the left front wheel. It is presented in "as found" condition and would glow with a good cleaning and coat of wax but that has been left for the purchaser to decide as some also prefer the original look.
