Pretty handcrafted cherries and cherry blossoms petit point crossstitch cut-out, mounted on light blue background, with pretty royal blue matting, and professionally framed in buying white painted wood frame, with glass cover. A very lovely piece.
I have a cherry crossstitch in my own kitchen, and it adds so much to the decor! A touch of red is always just right in a kitchen, and according to principles of Feng Shui, a very lucky color in a room where there is strong fire element (cooking and baking). Cherries are just so happy and pleasingly cheerful! The white painted wood frame is in like-new vintage condition. Unsigned, sticker on back shows the framer. Has wire on back to hang on wall. 1980s -90s.
