Gift Idea: Duncan Miller, Crystal 3-Part Relish in First Love pattern, buying from the late 1930's

Duncan & Miller Glass Co. (D&M) was established in 1865 however their most well known factory was built in Washington, Pa. in 1893. D&M crystal has been known and highly prized since the turn of the century especially for their pattern and later pressed glassware's. D&M Glass Co. was sold to US Glass Company in 1955, with many of their popular molds transferred to Tiffin Glass.

The First Love pattern, was brought into production in 1930 buying and was available into the 1940's where it was a top seller for D&M with many of their more decorated pieces sold in fine jewelry or upper end department stores.

The First Love, 7-inch, 3-part Relish dish (from a Three Feathers #117 mold) you find here, has a 3-tab handle with 3 equal sections for your selection of treats. This lovely dish, in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or other damage, has a beautiful Sterling Silver base and was clearly a special, luxury gift item.
