Vintage 1961 Tower 39 automatic 35 fixed lens viewfinder camera with built-in flash. Rectangular camera made in Japan by Mamiya Optical Co., Ltd. as the Mamiya Automatic 35 EEF and sold by Sears, Roebuck & Company for their in-house Tower brand. A Mid Century camera collectible. Format: 135 Film. Dimensions: 13.8 x 8.4 x 6.6 cm. Specs include: Mamiya-Tower Kominar 45mm f/3.8 lens with rotation ring with zone settings to adjust focus, tab under lens to adjust shutter speed with a setting window on top; selenium light meter that controls the camera's automatic exposure system, film advance lever with frame counter at its base, threaded shutter button, lens aperture controls, film speed indicator, viewfinder with projection (orange frame shows field of view), film rewind knob, back compartment for film and battery, film door with flash calculator, film rewind release, tripod socket, flashbulb ejector switch (no bulb), real leather strap.
