buying This rare Susie Cooper Patricia Rose vegetable is in excellent vintage condition. NO crazing, chips or cracks or large scratches. There may be one scratch visible when held up to the light but It really looks like it was NEVER used!
This wonderful Susie Cooper vegetable bowl features a large pink rose in the centre surrounded by leaves in various shades of green. The rim is cream colour followed by a light pink band that fades towards the centre.
The bowl measures: 9.75" long x 7" wide x 2" high. Excellent for serving sides such as rice, vegetables and much more!
In 1922 Susie Cooper joined A.E. Gray & Co. Ltd, in Staffordshire where she produced her own hand painted floral designs that are still popular today. Susie Cooper left A. E. Gray & Co in 1929 to establish her own pottery company - ‘Susie Cooper Potteries'
In 1931 Susie developed the famous leaping deer back stamp which was used until 1964. She established Susie Cooper China in 1950. She worked for many other pottery firms, including Wedgwood in 1966 when they acquired Susie Cooper China Ltd.
