Original 1978 signed Jon Higgins ink and watercolor drawing of the Kentucky Derby buying winner Affirmed

Listed here is a great piece for the Kentucky Derby fan or collector - a drawing by Jon Higgins of the 1978 Derby winner Affirmed. (Who can forget the classic battles that year between Affirmed and Alydar, with Affirmed winning all three legs of the Triple Crown!) The ink and watercolor drawing is done over a replica program page of the Derby race that year, and is framed under glass. This is a pre-owned piece; the mat shows several dirt marks, the art itself is mostly in very good shape but you can see some light foxing, and the glass in the frame is loose because a few of the framing points on the back are buying missing - but this is why I'm offering it at a low price! The outer dimensions of the frame are 11 3/4" by 12 3/4" and the art itself measures 8" by 9".
