Vintage and retro art glass ashtray made by Imperial Glass, USA, Circa 1960 - 1970's. The ashtray is handmade, so no two are exactly the same. It is a retro cigar ashtray made of beautiful slag glass, made with deep blues and swirls of creamy lighter blue. It is 6 1/2" by 7 3/4kk", 1 1/2" tall square, it weighs 2 1/4 pounds. It is considered a work of art and there is even the Big Ashtray Museum where there are many different cigar ashtrays on display, or you can find it online. In today's market it is known more for its handmade design, and as a form of art with slag glass. There may be a few light scratches on the bottom from years of use, overall it is in great condition.
