The Walnut is from gunstock offcuts. The spine has beautiful hand filed and worked filework - with a hissing snake. Perfect for hunting, camping or for bushcraft - shaving sharp. Genuine Stag Antler handles. These are really beautifully hand made Damascus hatchets that are very sharp and hold a very good edge. You can split wood and saplings, chop meat and food perfect for hunters. The ultimate hunting, camping and bushcraft tool! Overall length is a little under 8.5 inches. The cutting edge is about 4 inches. They weigh about half a Kilogram in total and are beautifully balanced in the hand. Each of these Damascus hatchets and blade covers is different - no two are the same - ensuring that you get a unique and very special, craftsman made - hand forged - buying hatchet. We won't be selling very many of these - so get them whilst you can. Hand forged and custom made.
