This is a “Baby” Mamut Handmade Pastel set.
A hand-rolled soft Pastel set of 12 selected drawing colours, perfect for portrait painting and also as a travel set. All of our soft pastels have been made following the old traditions and Antique recipes, using the best pigments and materials. They all have been dried naturally under the sun, and the greatest care has been taken in their artisan production and packaging, with a manufacturing process entirely made by hand.
All of the Mamut soft pastels on sale are part of a 2020-limited production.
The “Baby" Mamut Pastels are perfect for artists of any skill level, also for beginners. But they have been made thinking on professional artists that demand the highest quality and a velvety smooth and creamy touch that only the best soft pastels can offer. These soft pastel-drawing bars can be used on different surfaces.
They apply very well on Pastel paper such as Canson, Art Spectrum, Hahnemühle, and others as in Sanded papers or on prepared boards, grunts, etc..
They also work perfectly for both, covering large areas and for detail work.
