Antique Baluchi buying kilim bag face...

This textile panel....is the front face of what is left of a baluch tribel travel bag aka a Khurjeen, or kilim bag, which had most likely used on a pack animal (donkey, camel, etc)...
As you can see from the pics...this bag was heavily used. The back which consisted on plain horizontal strips, was so bad that I removed it as scrap...but for me the front still retained the allure and interest of complex stitchery, patterns and ...beauty...
