Eye miniatures, also known as lover's eye were popular in the late 1700's and 1800's. Normally watercolour on ivory, depicting the eye or eyes of a spouse, loved one, a child.
This is wonderful and truly unique Wedding, Mother's Day, Birthday or Anniversary gift. Special way to capture your loved one and have it near your heart, or give a bit of yourself to someone you care about. It can be a memory of your children, loved one, a friend, or maybe a pet. You can wear it around your neck or simply hang it on your wall.

This listing is for custom made pendant from a photograph with real pressed flowers. It will be painted with watercolours on 300gsm watercolour 100 % cotton paper. Painting will be then carefully placed in round pendant. I will choose flowers that i feel would fit most beautifully, but you will be able to choose your favourite. I will also put some lovely flowers on the backside, so you can wear it both ways. Photos are showing example of pendant. buying If you would like, i can paint you two eyes, one on each side. If you want that i need you to click on the button - custom order, so i can make you a custom order with adjusted price ( price for two painted eyes in one locket is 110€).

You just need to provide me a high quality photo(s) and i can start painting. It will take me 1-2 weeks to complete it.
Dimenisons of the entire locket frame are approximately 3 cm/ 1.2". Locket are sturdy for wearing but not meant to be opened repeatedly once art is inserted.
Chain is long approximately 60 cm / approx 23".
When the painting is finished i will email a photo to you for last approval. When you're completely happy with it, it will be packed in small gift box and shipped in padded envelope.
