This Thomas Kinkade Christmas Express is in new condition. It is a On30 scale and runs on HO track. There are no broken or missing pieces on this immaculate set. I tested the engine and it is smooth and quiet. Headlight works bright. I know this is a newer model due to the coaches having LED lighting instead of the traditional bulbs on past models. One change they did make is the steam piston mechanism. It is a one piece molded part instead of buying an actual operating part. Note photo ten. Big advantage to this are far less moving parts to malfunction. Looks great however and adds to its quiet operation. Everything is in its original packaging to aid in shipping and storage of the set. This will work for a Christmas Village scene or around a Christmas tree. I know these On30 engines are very reliable and can run numerous hours without any issues.
