Product code: Canterbury bells vintage fabric, buying 1940s floral linen, 3 yards for pillows, home decor
This 3-yard panel came to me years back with the selvedges sewn and the ends raw, so I'm not sure what it was used for. There appears to be light overall fade, but that could be the way the pattern was designed. The fabric is soft and strong and feels like it might have some linen mixed in with cotton. Measures 108 long by 45 wide.
The pattern, named Canterbury Bells on the selvedge, is a classic 1940s floral that came in several color buying ways. I've seen it in a dark blue and this deep red. Design is wheat, tulips, bluebells, and single roses, all in a denim blue and white combination.
This is a large enough piece to make cafe curtains or cover a cushion.
