This shelf was salvaged from a White brand sewing machine table. The table originally had drawers that fit into this frames below the left and right of the table - this frame was on the right. I salvaged the drawers to sell separately and when I turned the frame that they went in upside down, I thought it looked like a small shelf. I added three metal screens to fill in the middle. The wood is oak and has a rich, dark brown color with lots of amazing wood grain.
The shelf will sit on a desk, table or any flat surface. There are no hooks on the back currently but if you wanted to hang on a wall, you could add them according to how you wanted to mount them.
The shelf measures 17 1/8 inches wide, 11 5/8 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches deep.
The shelf has wear from years of use - scuffs, scratches and places where the wood is lighter or darker than the color around it. The spaces that the metal screens fit into were not perfectly rectangular so they don't fit perfectly, but I added some small screws for them to rest on - these are hard to see from a distance.
