Vintage Caramel Brown Slag Glass Rooster on a Nest Candy Dish Rare find the darker caramel slag in the Rooster Dish Slag glass is so beautiful, no two are exactly the same Marked with its buying I G in the glass on the underside of the lid and the underside of the dish It also still bears the Imperial sticker inside the nest - Imperial End O'Day Measures- 8inches high, 7 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide Great Condition- No cracks, chips, or repairs Please see all pictures as they are part of the description 1940's. The Imperial Glass Company was located in Bellaire, Ohio. Founded in 1901 and run until Rough times in the 1970's had them near bankruptcy. Lenox stepped in and changed the lines to general use products. They eventually closed in 1984; demolished the factory in 1995, but their office building was renovated into The National Imperial Glass Museum. Cube #1 top.
