Educated at Hotchkiss and Yale, Curtis Arnoux Peters Jr. found fame as cartoonist Peter Arno, satirizing the New York elite he knew so well while remaining one of society's most dashing figures. He contributed cartoons and over 90 covers to The New Yorker from 1925 until 1968.
This 140 page hardcover book, is the first printing, published in 1967 by Simon and Schuster, New York, is a collection some of Arnoux's cartoons that, " remind our solemn generation that between Men and Women there now is and always has been something funny going on." Full page cartoons on every page, in black and white with two color full page cartoons on the two free end pages.

Condition:
First Printing. Book buying is in very good to excellent condition, as it has been kept in a clear protective jacket. Original dust jacket has a few very small tears. Cover is in great condition. Interior pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is intact. Really an excellent copy of this vintage book!
