Large crystalline vase featuring buying a blue and yellow glaze

Handmade unique ceramic vase wheel thrown on the Potter's Wheel with a white stoneware. This vase was then glazed with a crystalline blue and yellow glaze. During the kiln firing, the temperature at which the vase was allowed to cool down was controlled and little crystal structures formed over the surface of the piece. I kind of like to think of the surface pattern that forms as miniature maps, with the yellow/brown color forming land masses and the blue pools of glaze and crystals as the water. This ceramic vessel buying is capable of holding water and would make for a great container for flowers, but can also stand alone by itself as a piece of decor for your environment.
