This lovely set of four (4) salad or dessert plates was made by FRANKOMA Art Pottery. The style is called Plainsman and the color is Autumn Yellow. It's a lovely, rich, earthy yellow. The clay used to make the plates is called sapulpa clay. Sapulpa clay is a red clay and you can see the color when you look at the bottom, unglazed portion of the plates. These salad or dessert plates were probably made in the 1950s. These plates are 7-1/4" in diameter. The backstamps on all four read "FRANKOMA 6G." These plates are in excellent, pre-owned condition with no damage. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Anything in the photos that looks like damage is only a reflection. Free shipping and insurance within the domestic U.S.
