1930s' buying handmade beaded evening purse

I bought this in the early 80s' from a vintage-antique store in Honolulu. The bead work is incredible and has been stored away for years, since I don't often attend the ballet or opera. It has a gold threaded label inside saying 'guaranteed handmade Tokyo'. The lining is satin and stained from the years, but there isn't one loose bead on the purse or handle. Perfect antique condition. 90 buying dollars, a dollar for each year it has survived.

The last time I used this pretty little evening purse, was at a performance of the Nutcracker in the late 80s'. I was pregnant and very nauseous and ignoring side glances from other audience members as I ate saltines from my beautiful beaded purse. But there's not a crumb in the purse.
