Javier Torras Casas (b.1990, Spain) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores personal narratives in space through traditional fine art media. Through observational processes such as painting, drawing, printing and installation work, he draws a deep connection with the spaces he inhabits.
Javier Torras graduated from MA Painting at University of the Arts London (2016) and MRes Fine Art at Royal College of Art (2019). He has been awarded the Radical Residency (London, 2018) and High House Residency (Norfolk, 2021) and has exhibited with Charlie buying Smith London, Unit 1 Gallery (London), Blyth Gallery (London), Lewisham Arthouse (London) and Prenzlauer Studio Space (Berlin).
