Available in three sizes each Illuminated Cross is hand carved by skilled artisans from Avocado wood. The Illuminated Cross gets it's name from the fiery hand carved tips, each flamed tip is hand-painted with a mixture of colors starting with a deep red, to orange, then yellow. each cross is equipped to hang on the wall with a brass hook. Each size of the Illuminated cross is embellished with a variety of authentic Milagro charms(handmade in Mexico City). Each of these small metal medallions has both a spiritual and specific meaning,(read below).

About the miracle charms known as Miˈlaɡɾos
The english word literally meaning “Miracle”, these small charm are thought to have originated with the ancient Iberians who inhabited the coastal regions of Spain 2000 - 3000 B.C.. These mini metal medallions are made in endless shapes and sizes, each figure has a different meaning. For century's though-out Latin America people of faith have used Milagros as votive offerings to mend or heal one's ailments or pray for "assistance" with other difficulties in their daily lives.
