Sandstorm Acrylic Paint buying Pour

This 12x12 inch acrylic paint pour reminds me of a sandstorm, with the golden sand and metallic debris swirling around as the wind takes control.

I used the bottle bottom pour technique, which involved using the puddle pour technique on top of a cylindrical sand toy which allowed the paint to pour down the sides of the sand toy and puddle in sections at the bottom of the cylinder. I then tilted the canvas back and forth to stretch the paint across the canvas. I used colors including gold, copper, silver, bronze, black, and metallic white to create this captivating piece. I will finish it off with several coats of varnish for protection and additional shine.

I prefer this painting in the orientation shown in the pictures. However, one of the great things about this and many of the other paintings in this shop is that it can be oriented anyway you choose!

Note: I hang this and other pieces using a nail in the wall and hanging the backside of the canvas on the nail. You could also prop the painting up on a stand or easel. If you'd like a hanging buying mechanism, I will include a sawtooth picture holder in the package with your painting for you to attach to the back of the canvas.
