Hailing from a mindspinning variety of original sources, authentic sea glass comes in in every color of the rainbow and each shade in between, manifesting in an astonishing array of configurations and forms; and naturally, certain pieces are less common than others. And while genuine green sea glass is ordinarily relatively prosaic, surf-tumbled specimens representing the vivid emerald side of the gorgeous green spectrum are actually quite rare, yet scarcer still are pieces that tumbled ashore on England's famous Seaham Beach, where vibrant, often multicolor surf treasures are something of a signature. Given these facts, the stunning surf treasures used to create these handmade earrings are in a class of buying their own! Smoothed, majestically frosted and shaped into plump little circles (measuring roughly one-half-inch tall in diameter) only by time, the surf, sand and salt, these flawless ocean gems have been upcycled into uniquely alluring dangle earrings. Handcrafted with a focus on highlighting the innate beauty of the glass -- which feature several swirls of extraordinarily vivid green hues on a frosty white field, albeit in slightly different patterns -- sterling jump rings, silver eye pins and a powerful clear epoxy allow these beautiful baubles to hang from the center of elegant, sterling silver rings to accent the glass's multidimensional qualities. Sturdy sterling jump rings attach these dazzling dangles to dramatic, sterling silver V-hooks for a dazzling drop length of 2 inches. Created after decades or perhaps even centuries of tumbling across craggy ocean floors, no two pieces of authentic sea glass are exactly alike. Since each piece is very literally unique, I can't help but think of sea glass as snowflakes of the salty seas! Indeed, finding such a well-matched duo of rare Seaham gems was akin to hitting the proverbial jackpot, but the reality is equal parts luck, diligence and patience. I spend hours meticulously sorting my finds in a dogged pursuit of pieces that are not only the same color -- or shade thereof -- but also very similarly shaped and sized. Many would find my efforts overzealous, but I am passionate about delivering only my very best work.

We think sea glass is special and our customers are important, so each jewelry purchase comes in a hand-decorated box. Boxes are designed to complement the contents whenever possible, and will vary accordingly. Please see the last image for some packaging samples.
