This pretty cup and saucer is a lovely example of Paragon work, with detailed gold work, bands of color, and a pedestal style cup form. The blue has some green undertones. The cream colored bands have a definite yellow undertone, in almost a french ivory color, which plays well with the blue and gold. Based on backstamps and other comparables, I believe this one is mid century, most like late 50's or early 60's.
This set is in overall excellent vintage condition, with very minor gold wear, and one little gold spot on top of the handle, which appears to have been made before glazing, as a potential oops when hand painting. I see no chips, crazing, or crackling. Please do also use pictures for reference as to condition, as part of the overall description.
Cup measures 4 3/4" across with handle (3 3/4" without), and 2 1/8" high. Saucer diameter is 5 1/2"
