Always fascinated by castles, I happened upon a photograph of a castle in ruins. I guess it was a popular scene since it is now a familiar screensaver. My oil painting, on an 8 x 10 canvas board, shows the castle on the moors during sunset. The sunset tracks across the sky and clouds with the blazing colors of orange and cadmium red. It is reflected on the turrets and the wild grasses in the foreground.
The canvas board, sold unframed, fits a standard 8 x 10 or larger matted frame. This allows you to find a frame to suit your decor.
