by Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase
This artwork wishes good luck and makes the perfect gift for anyone undertaking a new adventure and in need of a little luck.
The Japanese word kouun means "Good Luck" and is composed of the kanji 幸 (read kou) meaning "happiness; blessings; good fortune" and 運 (read un) meaning "destiny; fate; luck".
About The Art: The art is created on beautiful handmade paper that we purchase directly from the papermaker in Kochi Japan. This handmade paper has four deckled edges and is perfect for Western-style framing either with or without a mat.
Each work is individually brushed by Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase at the time of your order and proudly bears her seal and signature. This is not a print but is handbrushed to match the sample as closely as possible. This is a personal work of art that is designed to last generations.
Delivery: The art is completed and shipped within 1-3 business days and arrives ready to frame.
