"Jim Davis" by John Masefield is a classic story about a child who is exposed to pirates who want to do him harm and he must balance his enjoyment of life on the sea with his own well-being. This is the "Only Authorized American Edition"(as shown in photo 8) published by Grosset and Dunlap in New York circa 1930's. Other features include a dustjacket, full-page illustrations, a frontispiece illustration, decorative boards and endpapers both covers, top edge green stain, and bottom and side edges deckled!

Condition: Book-(VG/FN)(Very Good/Fine)-Has only minor defects that include some bumps and abrasions, and some staining and/or soiling. Boards and endpapers have some tanning and fading but all are fully and firmly intact with overall excellent presentation. Interior Pages are crisp and off-white with only some slight fraying in a couple spots but no tears, loose or missing pages!

Dustjacket: (GD)(Good)-Has some moderate to heavy tears along the edges and buying some piece loss in a few spots. Flaps have good presentation and are tight to the boards with only some slight frays. Dustjacket is fully intact with no sections missing!
