What a smart and sophisticated purse this Judith Leiber bag is!!! It appears to be relatively simple but upon closer look it has a very creative and unusual dyed pattern on the karung skins. The bag is medium to large and it has a stylized shape with a lot of curves as well as linear lines. The top is scalloped. The karung skins are soft and they have a slight sheen. Three sections constitute the front and back of the bag separated by trim made of the skins. It is the dyed pattern that takes center stage. It is dyed a medium beige and on top of that are wide vertical strips of brown and an orangey red (rust like). Your eye immediately goes to the striking red but that is buying not all. The spaces between these wide lines are dotted with what appears to be animal spots! These spots are done in a brownish color and all the colors seem to blend together. It is unique and gives the bag energy and panache. Good condition and a must have item!.
