The original "Split Moon" is mixed media, 16"x20" acrylic and paper ephemera on wood. Paper ephemera is buying in Bangla, Urdu, and a map of South Asia.

The original painting was created in July 2022. In some interpretations of the Quran, the splitting of the moon is seen as a miraculous sign of the end of the world. Some say that it was a miracle performed by the prophet. I see the painting as a reflection of the times we are living in and the hope we must find despite, in spite. What do you see when you look at it?

Each print is a reproduction of my original gouache painting "Split Moon" and is printed on Archival Textured Watercolor paper using archival ink in matte.

Prints are hand signed and dated, shipped in a tube. Items will be printed on demand, so do allow for 1-2 weeks for processing time.
