All my jewellery is inspired by the natural world buying around me. These one of a kind solid sterling silver earrings are no exception. The inspiration for this collection actually came tree branches beginning to bud and blossom in the spring. I have a flowering tree in my yard that comes to life every spring and the transformation is always exciting to watch.

MATERIALS & PROCESS

♢ The earrings are one of a kind constructed and fused from scratch usings solid Argentium silver (100% recycled.)

♢ Argentium silver is a cleaner type of silver – both for me and the environment. It has a slightly higher fine silver content then traditional silver (93.5% compared to sterling's 92.5%.) Made from recycled and refined traditional silver it is a great choice both ethically and environmentally. Alloyed with hypo allergenic germanium it fuses beautifully and is fun to work with! Argentium silver allows me to work safer in the studio, by eliminating toxic flux and pickle fumes. I love working with Argentium silver and I am excited to present to you a silver that is cleaner and of a higher quality then traditional sterling silver.

INSPIRATION & SYMBOLISM

♢ These earrings are inspired by a flowering tree branch in the spring. I enjoyed simplifying the form to come up with this one of a kind design, thinking about how the spring season is like a celebration! I love how the earth comes alive!

MEASUREMENTS

♢ The earrings are 4.2 cm long including ear wires. I designed them to be slightly curved; when you them on facing inwards they follow your jaw line, and facing outwards they follow your neckline. The earrings are not identical but are designed as a set (just as no two tree branches are the same!) They are roughly the same length and weight to balance each other out. Truly one of a kind!

♢ I like to make earrings that are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day long. These earrings are the exact pair you will receive. They have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after the model wore them.

GIFT GIVING

♢ Giving as a gift? I send all my jewellery in pretty thin cardboard jewellery boxes, wrapped with ribbon and tissue paper, nice enough to give as a gift. I always include artist info so the recipient knows the item is handmade from the heart.

♢ I'm all about hidden symbolic meaning - these earrings would be a thought gift to celebrate something new, or a fresh start (like the spring season.)

SHIPMENT + DELIVERY

♢ This item is all ready made and ready to ship, I will get it in the mail within 1-3 business days

♢ I securely package all my jewellery in thin cardboard jewellery boxes, placed inside of a padded envelope or larger box for shipping.
