buying This is an antique majolica plate (circa 1890) . The plate is decorated with a central blackberry sprig motif against a Tiffany blue ground, surrounded by a wide brown border with basket weave texture. Back has been sponge decorated, and bears a painted "15" but no other marks. The plate was most likely made by the Arsenal Pottery of Trenton, NJ. Condition: quite a bit of rubbing/ glaze loss to raised portions of front. Foot rim has two chips as shown in last three photos. These are not visible from front, and barely visible from side, as shown in last photo. Nice large 10" diameter will display well.
