This nuno felt pixie scarf/ belt is hand felted with merino wool onto muslin cotton using the wet felting technique.

This would add the finishing touch to any fairytale wedding dress!

I have felted in antique lace and used a variety of natural fibers blended into the felt , such as silks and flax and hemp fibers. Then i have stitched ridges to give added texture .
This scarf has a large bone button.

This can be worn as a scarf or used as a kidney warmer buying / belt

I will of course accept orders for a similar colour and patterned vest as shown, though it must be remembered that each garment is individually unique and as such no two are or will ever be, exactly the same.

Thats means I can make this made to your waist measure .

By ordering your custom made piece you also have freedom to play with the color choice and combination....
The bottons I use are made of wood , bone or horn ,handcrafted , made by artist at the Etsy.com community.
So know they are also unique and the stock I keep is varied.

CARE ~
Felted products are not able to be washed in an automatic machine EVER. Nor are they able to be dried using a cloths dryer / tumble dryer. Using these machines will ensure that the felted item will be pulled completely out of shape and then shrunk to around 25% of its original size.... or smaller.

Wash only by hand, using cold water. A soft washing soap is perfect. Natural soaps are great because they are usually extra soft. After rinsing gently and getting all the suds out .. please REMEMBER no wringing at all. Not even gentle squeezing regardless of how tempting it feels to get some of the water out. A towel can be laid over a (cake type) rack and the garment laid flat on the towel and allowed to drip and dry at room temperature. Do shape the item once it is laid on the towel.

Felt will shrink if tumble dried. Down to 10/15% of its original size. This is not repairable.
Felt will loose shape if machine washed. It may be unrecognizable. This is not repairable.
