House of God is a print from an original oil painting by Andrew Shows. His paintings are inspired by Southwest history, and the resulting prints project buying high, vibratory colors that allow the images an up-to-date contemporary appeal. This particular print is of a kiva, which is a men's underground ceremonial chamber. Many exist today on pueblos in New Mexico and Arizona and still are in use.
