These trays are artisan pieces. Each one is unique, hand painted by remote tribal groups from Pakistan. Makes for a great hostess, birthday, or holiday gift.
They are considered collector pieces and not readily available to the mass markets. The hand painting continues today and we support the artists and their craft. The base frame is wood. The hand painted designs vary in pattern and color.
The base color covers the frames and then each design is laboriously created in the center piece of the tray.
Sides show the base color and also have an intricate design framing the tray. The inset pattern compliments the border pattern.
Each tray is finished with multiple layers of shellac protecting the unique patterns. Inventory is limited.
Dimensions: Trays are oblong and measure 12.5 inches in length, 12.5 in width, and 2.5 in height.
Suitable for display, serving tray, lap tray, and may even be hung as a piece of art.
