Coro Sparkliest Blue Starburst Brooch and Earrings buying Set

As far as real stars go, the blue ones are the hottest. According to science, the shorter the wavelength of light a star emits, the hotter it is, and the blue or blue white star emits the shortest light wavelength.

Figuratively, does this make our blue starburst brooch and earrings by Coro the "hottest" then? It is ultra-sparkly and glittery, after all, and would get noticed wherever it goes.

All pieces depict individual starsbursts made of layers of pale blue faceted crystals displayed in filigree-style open silvertone metal setting.

The brooch is the biggest starburst, measuring 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has a larger 1/2" round blue crystal in the center and top. It is surrounded by smaller blue crystals set in layers of sleek silver filigree.

Each earring is a smaller 1" x 1" starburst, also layered like the brooch.

The brooch has a locking c-clasp. The earrings are screw-in clipbacks. All pieces are marked Coro, plus Des. Pat. Pend.

Though our set was made in the 1950s, it is in unbelievably excellent condition. All buying the blue crystals are in fabulous shape and the silvertone metal is still shiny and scuff free.
