Ladies Native American Inspired Beaded Bag with Hopi Pottery Signed by Artist
Description: A gorgeous all handmade Native American inspired bag featuring a Hopi polychrome storage jar on the front - all handsewn with glass seed beads. The color of the beads are black, transparent deep red and white. The design on the storage jar is a Sikyatki-style bird, which is spelled out in white beads in the lower right edge. There is a note inside the bag with the following written on it: "Hopi Polychrome Storage Jar, Sikyatki-style Bird, San buying Idelfonso Pueblo, 1920's". The bag is made of soft felted wool, backed with heavy canvas and is completely hand-stitched together. Signed on the corner of the inside of the flap by the maker/artist: "Nancy K - 002/2012". It has a braided suede leather strap with a beaded charm and tassels. The beads on the charm are vintage lampwork beads: red skunk bead; red white heart; chevron; and a silver toned feather. It comes in its original gift presentation box and would make a wonderful gift for a special lady.
Measurements: 7" tall x 6" wide x 1" depth. Strap drop: 21".
Condition: New. Has never been used and is still in the gift presentation box.
