buying Nice example of Samson wear in the form of a trinket box. It is decorated on the lid with a coat of arms and has the word confido. It has pink flowers and green leaves all over the lid and body. It has some gilding around the edge of the lid and bottom of the base, and also some raised white tube work. It has a little scroll clasp in brass to keep the lid shut.
It has the Samson mark underneath.
Condition: it is a little worn on the edge of the base. The rough edge of the porcelain is showing through inside the rim of the lid, although this is perfectly normal. It has a little imperfection in the glaze on the base.
