Pleasing to the eye because of their blending of complimentary colors, the Landsun line by Peters and Reed might be considered their most desirable. Displaying a stylized floral pattern, leafy green foliage begins and surrounds the base culminating in clusters of overlapping petals near the rim. The convergence of colors provides a seemingly hand painted motif and a certain translucence that give it a very life like depth. This diminutive vase produced in the 1920's, is finished in a matte glaze which presents a very earthy, warm visual appeal. Standing a mere 3 3/8" buying tall, it is 2 1/4" at the base and 2 1/2" across the top. This great little example is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing noted. It would make for a wonderful decorative piece or as a cherished addition to your Peters and Reed or art pottery collection. Thanks for looking!
