Custom wood burning on a basswood plank. This piece was hand drawn, burned and painted with watercolors, with attached hardware so it's ready to hang.
The piece pictured measures roughly 11” x 6.25” and is approximately 3/4” in thickness. The beauty of crafting with wood is working with all of the perfect imperfections in each piece. Every slice buying is different and may have various dark marks, water spots (a common after effect from drying the wood), mineral deposits, spots or streaks.
