Kokopelli Wall Art - Fused buying Glass

Kokopelli is one of the most intriguing and widespread characters surviving from ancient cultures. These fused glass figures are beautifully constructed of a variety buying of opaque, iridized and dichroic glasses which I combined and fused in my kiln. After firing, I mounted each figure onto wooden plaques which I sanded, painted and distressed in lacey white chalk paint. These pieces would make great gifts for anyone planning to expand their family, a musician, hunter, gardener, historian or anyone who appreciates southwestern art or culture.
