This is a true 1930s-1940s American Modern lidded 2 quart casserole pot by Russel Wright, manufactured by The Steubenville Pottery Company in Ohio. The pot is beautiful and has stood the test of time. The rich yellow green will add a pop of color and a sleek design to your dining experience. If there is crazing present it goes unnoticed upon my inspection. There are no chips or cracks. There is one tiny inconspicuous spot on the edge of the rim inside the pot. This could be a firing imperfection, but I wanted to try and capture it in a photo, so please look closely. These Russel Wright pieces are highly sought after, especially in this condition. This pattern and style was one of the most popular mid century designs of the 20th century. Russel Wright by Steubenville Pottery can be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, as well as many other collections. With this piece added to your own cookware, you'll have something that is truly set apart from all the rest. Please see our other Russel Wright items in our shop and compare prices with other replacements sites. The pot measures 8 3/8 inches. Thank you for looking. buying
