A vintage 1930's era Rob Roy manual wind (mechanical) pocket watch, silver tone with open face. The watch measures 48.2 mm in diameter and 14.5 buying mm thick with a plastic crystal that is likely not original. Interior is has no serial numbers, case numbers or maker's marks that are readily visible. Case is silver with a case back that is friction fit. Condition of the watch is good: The stem and crown is a bit stiff when pulled to set, when wound it runs for about 5-10 minutes and seems to keep time. Likely needs a good cleaning. Dial has a few bits of debris/dust that are floating under the crystal. Case exterior has scratches from wear and use during its previous life.
All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term "delicate" in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or "wear with care". Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
Payment: I accept Etsy Payments and PaypaI. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at my web site www.tinacityad.com or through Etsy.
Thank you!
Tina
